The University of Toledo men’s tennis head coach Al Wermer will be holding the annual weekly co-ed junior tennis camp for northwest Ohio’s most competitive players, beginning Wednesday, June 21, at the Varsity Tennis Courts.

The NWO High Performance Tennis Camp consists of five sessions run by current Toledo men’s and women’s coaching staff and UToledo student-athletes. The camp is open to all junior tennis players entering up to grade 12 and are 18 years old or younger. The five sessions will run from 4 to 6 p.m. on June 21, June 28, July 12, July 19 and July 26, and cost $75 for the five sessions.

“My goal is to bring our D-I MAC Championship-level approaches, strategies and drills to the area’s top players,” Wermer said. “We want to provide exposure to supplement their tournaments and training. This year’s program will be a more compact five sessions in six weeks.”
